Backstage With Becca B. Ep. 102 with Morgan Siobhan Green

On this episode I talked with Morgan about when she figured out she wanted to be a theatre performer, how she has worked on becoming a well-rounded performer, why she consider herself an actress first, making her Broadway debut in Be More Chill where she understudied four different characters, her learning process for learning four different roles in the same show, why she thinks Be More Chill had/has such a huge fanbase, Moby Dick at A.R.T., why being a part of Moby Dick as Pip was so special to her and inspired her to name her dog Pip, Rachel Chavkin’s work, her audition process for the Hadestown tour, the building blocks along the way that help shows become successful, the process of making the character Eurydice her own for the Hadestown National tour, her dream role on stage, self confidence in the entertainment industry, and MORE!

Morgan Siobhan Green (she/her)

Morgan is a native of Decatur, Illinois. She is thrilled to be back on stage and sharing Hadestown with the rest of the country. She is a graduate from Bradley University (BS) and LIU Post (MA). A few of her credits include Broadway: Be More Chill. Regional: Moby Dick (American Repertory Theatre), Between the Lines (KC Rep, 92Y). NY Theatre: Folk Wandering (ART NY), Sweetee (Signature). TV: Zuri on “The Bold Type” (Freeform), “Because I’m Me” (The Avalanches music video). She's the single parent to the most adorable Shih-Poo named Pip, who gets whatever he wants. Morgan, when not in a rehearsal room, is either teaching, trying different almond milk creamers, writing, eating chips or sending memes to her parents (they usually never laugh).
