Maya Bowles (she/her)

Maya Bowles was born and raised in Atlanta, GA where she began dancing at a very young age. She trained in a variety of styles including ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and hip-hop.

She later discovered her passion for theater as well and decided to attend Cobb County Center of Excellence in the Performing Arts at Pebblebrook High School where she trained in dance, voice, and theater.

Maya followed her passion to Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA. While there, she performed works by Mark Burrell, Yin Yue, Jae Man Joo and Kiesha Lalama, to name a few. In April 2020, Maya graduated from Point Park University earning her BFA in Dance with a concentration in Jazz dance and a minor in Musical Theater.

Maya has been fortunate enough to spend her summers doing professional theater at The Atlanta Lyric Theater, The Strand Theater and The MUNY while also exploring her choreographic voice at CCCEPA, choreographing pieces for their traveling performance group, "ComPAny".
