On this episode I talked with Emily about when she fell in love with theatre and realized she wanted to perform for a living, the first show she ever saw, working on becoming a well-rounded performer while growing up, joining Wicked’s 2nd National Tour as an Elphaba standby, her audition process for Wicked on tour and her reaction when she booked the show, learning about a standby’s job through becoming a standby in Wicked, her favorite Elphaba song to sing, why she believes Wicked has been open for as long as it has been and is one of the longest running Broadway musicals, life on the road, getting the chance to be in Bat Out Of Hell in North America as Raven for a short time, what interested her most when it came to Bat Out Of Hell, joining the cast of Almost Famous as Anita Miller during it’s beginning stages and getting to perform at The Old Globe in San Diego, making her Broadway debut this year with Almost Famous, making the role(s) she plays in Almost Famous her own on stage, why people should come see Almost Famous before January 8th, and MUCH MORE!
