On this episode I talked with Adante about when he first realized he loved performing, when he realized he could make a career out of performing, his move from South Dakota to Los Angeles, why he chose to go to school at AMDA and how AMDA helped him further his career in musical theatre, getting cast in the Los Angeles revival of Carrie: The Musical, being part of an immersive theatre show, his audition for “Mean Girls: The Musical”, his reaction when he got the role, getting to play Aaron Samuels and inspire kids and teens in the audience every night, how he brings himself to the role of Aaron, his dream roles, what he’s most looking forward to when live theatre returns, what he’s been up to during this past year, and MUCH MORE!

Adante Carter (he/him)

Adante Carter is an actor, born and raised in Rapid City, South Dakota. Being actively involved in his community, local arts organizations, and high school theatre department, he decided to move to LA to pursue an education in Music Theatre.

After graduation at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, he booked a role in the immersive Los Angeles revival of Carrie: The Musical, which led to more involvement in the LA theatre scene.

Shortly thereafter he made the move to New York, where he has since continued to work in National Tours, Off-Broadway, regionally and commercially on various projects. Currently he's part of the cast of the First National Tour of "Mean Girls: The Musical" as Aaron Samuels.
