
Nick is an accomplished Broadway veteran who brought his elite musical theater pedigree to the historic The Cape Playhouse to star as Cinderella’s Prince and the Wolf in Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods. A Boston Conservatory graduate, Adams rose to prominence by originating the role of Adam and Felicia in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert on Broadway, earning an Astaire Award nomination, two Broadway Audience Choice Awards, and an American Theater Hall of Fame honor. His extensive stage career includes winning an Outer Critics Circle Award for Drag: The Musical alongside Broadway performances in A Chorus Line, Guys and Dolls, Chicago, La Cage, and The Pirate Queen. He also anchored major national tours as Whizzer in Lincoln Center’s Falsettos and Fiyero in Wicked. On screen, Adams earned a Gotham Award for the Emmy nominated film Fire Island and has appeared on television series like The Comeback and The Other Two. A celebrated concert artist who has performed with the NY Pops at Carnegie Hall and the Boston Pops, his headlining appearance at America's Oldest Professional Summer Theatre continues his long tradition of theatrical excellence.
