Zach's work as an actor spans 15 years of stage and screen appearances. Most recently, he played Svec in ONCE at South Coast Repertory. He appeared in the Ovation-nominated production of FLOYD COLLINS at La Mirada Theatre For The Performing Arts, MURDER FOR TWO at the Geffen Playhouse, and the Disney film, MAX KEEBLE'S BIG MOVE. He is currently appearing in Off-Broadway's THE OTHER JOSH COHEN, directed by Hunter Foster.

Zach also appeared in a workshop of his own musical, LEAP, as well as a short film he wrote, VEGETABLES. Other favorite roles include Marvin Hamlisch in A CLASS ACT and Jonathan Larson in TICK...TICK...BOOM!

Zach is an award-winning musical theatre composer. His first full-length musical, LEAP, was a recipient of the NMI/Disney New Voices award, and received its first workshop this past spring. He also participated in the 2016 Johnny Mercer Songwriters Project in Chicago. His music has been heard on stages across New York and Los Angeles, including 54 Below, Rockwell Table & Stage, and Catalina Jazz Bar.

Zach is currently working on a politically-charged cabaret called WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?, a tribute to journalists and voices of resistance. As a comedy writer, he co-wrote and starred in the viral sensation OH HI HAMILTON, a mashup of the Broadway smash hit "Hamilton" and Tommy Wiseau's disaster-piece, "The Room."

Zach is the Music Supervisor, Arranger, and Orchestrator of CRUEL INTENTIONS: THE MUSICAL- a 90s jukebox musical based on the film- currently running Off-Broadway at Le Poisson Rouge in New York City's Greenwich Village.

Zach is also the rhythm guitarist, co-writer, and arranger for Apolla, a hip-hop/funk rock band based in his hometown of Los Angeles, as well as the music director for "A Day At The Beaches," a comedic tribute to Bette Midler. As a musician, he has appeared on the stages of LA's Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Whiskey-A-Go-Go, the Mint, the Roxy, and New York City's Laurie Beechman Theatre.
